Posters on a wall discovered when walking the English Coast, cumbria

Story Wall

Way up to Baycliff, Ruth's coastal walkSometimes you discover surprising art work on your walks.

To the left and below is a collection of posters I found on a tiny path leading up from a beach in Cumbria. I guess the person who lived in the house alongside the path had placed them there.

Art and poetry combined! They certainly brightened up the end of a long and difficult walk!

At the top of the steps was another piece of wacky art.

Sculpture made from found objectsThis creature (a deer?) appears to be made from found objects on the beach below.

Another gloriously cheerful – and completely eccentric –  piece of art.

Thank you, unknown artist, for making me laugh!
