Patterns

I like taking photographs of wide, sweeping landscapes, but sometimes I enjoy focusing on the small stuff. Last week I was rambling around the Solway Firth, and here are some of the mini-images that caught my eye.

Old tree knot
eye in the tree

Charlie’s seat
Solway 1
bricked up window
Solway 2
peeling back layers
solway 5
the smooth in the rough
solway 6
no parking
Solway 7
ripples of water and light
Solways 4
barbs and thorns

A medley of natural objects and manmade artifacts, a mishmash of textures and colours.
